The Backstory

Long before Gem Jolie launched in March of 2026, Annie Tevelin learned firsthand that what we put on and in our bodies can change how we feel. Her experience with cystic acne led her to study ingredients, whole-body wellness and the connection between our everyday choices and our confidence.

That journey became SkinOwl, the clean beauty brand Annie founded in 2012 around transparency, plant-powered ingredients and intentional daily ritual. Gem Jolie brings that same philosophy from the bathroom shelf to the table.

Living in the Treasure Valley, Annie saw an incredible agricultural community growing beautiful food, but not enough easy ways to enjoy that abundance as a fresh, substantial salad on the go. Gem Jolie was created to help close that gap, bringing locally grown ingredients together in a meal that feels as convenient as it is nourishing.

Today, Gem Jolie partners with Idaho farms to create vibrant, protein-packed salads made fresh each week and delivered throughout the Treasure Valley - from Boise to Meridian to Eagle to Star.

Gem Jolie believes that taking care of yourself should feel joyful, thoughtful and a whole lot easier.
